SCAREDY CATS are SURVIVORS
and you can manage anxiety too!
The ADHDKCTeen group will be welcoming parents in June due to a speaker conflict. We’ll be talking about anxiety - why it’s there, how to recognize it, and what to do about it.

What is the ADHDKCTeen group? It’s the award-winning KC Metro CHADD chapter’s group for middle and high school students. ADHDKC also has groups for parents of kids with ADHD, adults with ADHD, and women with ADHD. All meetings are free and open to the public, though we encourage everyone to join CHADD for added benefits!
Anxiety can significantly impact the well-being and development of young people. There are many proven techniques to cope with emotions that can be learned and used for improved mental health.
I know that it’s hard to stay focused during lectures, so I keep participants engaged by encouraging audience participation. This talk is appropriate for adolescents and parents.
